Door to perception

Acrylic paint on cardstock, 47 x 47 cm. Intuitive work.
This painting is an abstract work characterized by a vibrant and energetic composition. It features a multitude of organic and curvilinear shapes, rendered in a bright and diverse colour palette. There is a strong sense of movement and flow. While busy, the composition doesn't feel overwhelming due to the relatively light background and the way the colours seem to interact and balance each other.
Given the title 'The Door to Perception' the painting evokes the sense of exploring internal states, altered realities, or the subjective nature of perception itself. The fragmented and intertwined forms may represent the jumble of thoughts, emotions, and sensory input that bombards us, or perhaps the way our minds process and interpret reality in a non-linear fashion. The "Door" could be the act of viewing the painting itself, inviting the viewer to step into my unique perspective and find different ways to understand the work.
